Well, finally the first Viking Barbecue of the year has come! Now we are celebrating the 5th edition of this event - usually, we do this twice in a year - and now I going to tell you what the Viking Barbecue is.

In resume, it's just a meeting of friends from high school doing a barbecue party.

We just save some money, buy some meat, sausage, soda, juice and beer put everything together and go to a friend's house to eat all of that and listen to Heavy Metal.

In the first editions this event was released at Rafa's house, because it has a huge balcony with a nice barbecue grill and that place can host around 20 persons.

I think that from the third edition of the event, we are doing it at Vini's condominium. Well, I have nothing against Rafa's home, I even has slept there for so many times, but Vini's condominium it's amazing!!! Yeah! Now we got a pool for our party, we really have a nice place to be!

Here is where Viking is being released nowadays!

What we do is just talking about something, laugh about nothing HAHA and of course listen to Heavy Metal!! That what we do.

That was just the beginning

That is Abe! He was the first person that I talked when I started to study in a new school on my high school days (2010). I have clear in my mind that day! Since that day we become friends! He studies mechanics engineering at university, and he also loves games, games programming, Artificial Intelligence and others amazonic things. Speaks english, japanese and a little bit of german.

Okay, okay! This dude is one of the most charismatic persons of the group. Cesar! Well, I met him for the first time in the last year of high school - 2012. He is very smart and very dedicated person! He studies control engineering at university. We usually call him: "Kaiser". One of the things that I really like on him - besides engineering knowledge - is that he likes embedded systems!

That's Pomper! Yeah, the only girl in the group. I met her for the first time in my second year of high school in a great year called 2011! For me, she a great designer! Very talent person! She studies social communication at University - unless I guess that is social communication. She also has made some sprites for a game in a Global Game Jam in January 2014. Try to search on google: "game roots of fate global game jam 2014" and download it! It's her second game published.

That is Magal! He works for the Brazilian Army. It's amazing the stories that he tell us about his missions in the amazon! He has some fighting abilities in some martial arts! He also knows some mechanical stuff. We studied together at high school - 2010. We were in the same class with Abe and now he studies Management at University. He is a nice person and very brave dude too!

This is RAFA! I'm a great fan of this dude! I met him for the first time in our last year of high school - 2012. He is our cook chef! Since the first Viking Barbecue, this guy creates amazing sauces for every kind of food!!! I remember a day in 2014, that he made one sauce with vodka! It was very delicious! Okay, let's get back to Rafa. Oh right, he studies International Relations at University. Rafa loves Heavy Metal and he plays Bass guitar, Guitar and he also has his own band called: Lust! Dude, there are lot of things to describe about this brother! I'll do this in another post!

Okay! That is Ricky! I met him for the first time in 2010 at high school, we studied in the same computing class. In that time, he used to have a long hair. He loves listen to Heavy Metal! I learned a lot with him about the Heavy Metal's World! Bands from Germany (Helloween, Gamma Ray) - I love Germany -, bands from Finland and so on... Thanks Ricky, for everything! I love metal the way I do because of you dude.

The most crazy dude in the group! Vini studies engineering at University. We usually call him: "Vini 666" or "Vini do Capeta (Devil Vini)" I don't remember why we call him like this. Vini worked with Pomper and Rafa as Designer in that Global Game Jam. Although he studies engineering, he loves the design field. Well, he also loves Heavy Metal and he is the owner of the place that the Viking Barbecue is released!

That's me! If you don't know me, hi! My name is George Lucas T. Bentes. I work with software development for web. But I don't like develop to web... For me, is not cool at all. I study Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology at University of the State of Amazonas. I prefer embedded systems or Internet of Things (IoT), mobile development or game development. I love Heavy Metal and GERMANY! I studied german for two years (2009 - 2011)... Yeah I learned something! Someday I wanna study at TUM (Technische Universität München)! DEUTSCHLAND!

There are lot of things to describe about these guys that could take a whole blog! Everyone with a special talent! The only thing that I have to say is:

Thank you for all these years of friendship! We are a great family! Hope we be together for a long time! And there are no words to say how I'm very thankful for all that you made for me. Thanks to all of you!

THE FIRST DETAIL THAT I PUBLISH!

Well, after I see that I was getting a little bit lazy, I simply decided to start doing something. But it should be something easy to do. Running at Ponta Negra's boardwalk sounded fantastic for a beginnner! I'll do this every sunday morning! And last sunday (April, 26th) was my fifth week going to Ponta Negra. But this last one I went with my best friend Abraão Melo and his family (Larissa, Saphira, "Naynha" and Airy).

It's beeing awesome, because I see every kind of person there! And they are always happy! Ponta Negra's atmosphere is incredible! It makes you forget every problem that you have in your life! And when you finish your physical activity you don't want simple leave, sometimes I stay there for around 1 hour just appreciating the view that Amazonia has!

There people ride bike, run, do skateboarding, play volleyball, there are lot of activities! In fact, Ponta Negra's neighborhood is one of the most expensive neighborhoods in Manaus.
